Dear TRS Families,
We are so very excited to welcome everyone back to school on Monday! The 2026-2027 School Year is going to be amazing! Staff will be outside for the coffee and conversation on the fist day of school, and you will be able to put a face to the name of your child's new teacher. For the first day of school, please remember that everyone will need the following:
indoor shoes
water bottle
snacks
lunch
appropriate-for-the-weather clothing as we will be spending time outdoors every day!
The school website will be our primary mode of communication, so we ask you to bookmark it, along with your child's teacher's blog address, which will be the key information portal into what is happening inside of classrooms on a weekly basis. Our school website can be accessed HERE
Complexity Funding
This fall, the CBE has hired hundreds of teachers, education assistants and other school staff to support student learning. These positions have been funded by the Government of Alberta with the intention of addressing classroom complexity and class sizes. In our school, Ms. Bisson will be our intervention teacher, which has opened up a new position in grade 1/2.
We are pleased to welcome additional new staff to our school for the 2026-27 school year:

We are very pleased to welcome a young Mr. B to our school community! This additional staff will help ensure students benefit from:
- Increased teacher attention
- Improved classroom learning environments
- Greater support for diverse learning needs
